Drying (system) is an important part of the tape machine (coating machine). The effect of drying directly affects the performance of the product. Different products have different drying methods, the most common is hot air drying, microwave drying and infrared drying.
The drying system generally includes an oven, a fan, a heat exchanger and a filter.
1. Types of ovens, the most common are bridge arched drying tunnels, flat-plate and air-floating drying tunnels, etc.
2. The fan is generally a centrifugal fan. If the coating liquid contains Class A and B solvents, an explosion-proof fan must be used.
3. The heat exchanger needs to be determined according to the type of heat source, temperature and heating capacity.
4. Filters, select suitable filters due to different process requirements.
5. Solvent recovery system, which absorbs water vapor, toxic and harmful substances in the solvent to promote drying of the coating layer and reduce the emission of harmful substances.
