The difference between single-layer winding and double-layer winding of winding machine

Winding characteristics of single-layer winding machine

In the embedded operation of the single-layer winding of the AC motor, it is much easier than the double-layer winding and the single-layer and double-layer hybrid winding, but its winding forms are various.

Single-layer windings, no matter which type of winding is used, have the following characteristics:

① Only one effective side of the coil is embedded in each slot of the single-layer winding. The number of winding coils is equal to half of the total number of slots. The number of coils is small, and the winding and embedding are convenient and time-saving;

② Since there is only one effective side in the groove, there is no need for interlayer insulation, which reduces the possibility of interphase short circuit in the groove;

③ High utilization rate of storage tanks;

④ Both ends of the winding coil are not easy to handle neatly;

⑤ Poor electrical performance.


Winding characteristics of double-layer winding machine

Double-layer windings generally have true double-layer windings, usually called double-layer windings, that is, two coil sides are indeed placed in each slot. But there are also single-layer and double-layer winding forms. From the perspective of this winding form, some slots are single-layered, and some slots are double-layered, and the surface does not seem to be double-layered windings; however, it is essentially double-layered. It should be seen or understood that the other side of the coil in the single-layer slot is not non-existent, but according to the electrical performance requirements of the motor, the number of turns on the side of the coil is small and negligible, so the coil of the winding is regarded as zero turns ; Therefore, when dealing with single-layer and double-layer windings, it should still be carried out in accordance with the principle of double-layer winding arrangement technology. Its characteristics are as follows:

① The number of turns is equal to the total number of slots. One effective side of the two coils is embedded in the upper and lower layers of each slot, which is time-consuming;

② Interlayer insulation should be added between the upper and lower coils in the slot, and the slot utilization rate is low;

③ A phase-to-phase short-circuit fault may occur;

④ The most advantageous pitch can be selected to improve the slot potential and magnetic field waveform and improve the electrical performance of the motor;

⑤ The ends of the winding coils are neat and beautiful.
