GW-901R Coil Turns Measuring Instrument
This instrument is used for measuring the turns of various types of coils, such as motor windings, generator windings, transformers and transformer coils, relay coils, TV HV/LV convertors, auto ignition coils. Thanks to the precision sensor and microcomputer circuit produced with the patent technologies, this instrument features the advantages such as high precision, powerful function, low influence on the coil shapes and geometric dimensions, reliable and easy operation. Accuracy values of the measured coils can be easily read from the instrument without any adjustment and calibration to the instrument, which greatly improve the measuring efficiency.

GW-901R Coil Turns Measuring Instrument
1.Overview
Instrument GW-901R for coil turns is added with resistance measuring device on the basis of GW-901, it can not only conveniently measure the coil turns but also measure the coil resistance. The instrument does not need to replace the stroke when measuring the resistance fast and high efficiency.

3.Use Method
3.1 The instrument uses four-wire method to measure the resistance, and the connecting method is shown as Fig. 1. It indicates M and N when measuring the resistance, and unrelated with the wire resistance and contact resistance.
3.2 When it is required to measure the resistance, press “Function Select” Key, allowing “Ω” or “kΩ” lamp on, then the instrument can select the stroke for measurement as per the measured resistance value automatically.
The digital displayed numerical value and the stroke unit “Ω”（ohm） or “kΩ” (kilohm) is the measured resistance.
3.3 If it is required to switch to turn quantity measurement, just press once “Function Select” Key to allow the “Turn” lamp on. Other operations refer to GW-901R.
