Function: The automatic magnetic core back-coating caping machine (Model: GWL-01B) is a professional device designed for transformer safety compliance products. It specializes in the processing and production of magnetic core packaging with external tape, featuring compatibility with EE, EP, and EFD magnetic cores. This machine significantly reduces labor costs and controls raw material expenses. With user-friendly operation, it is widely applicable in high-frequency transformer manufacturing.

 

Magnetic Core Caping Machine Main Features :

Operation Panel and Touchscreen Instructions

1. Turn the switch up to turn on the power, and down to turn it off.

2. The single-step switch operates in manual mode when pressed down and in automatic mode when released.

3. When the single-step switch is set to automatic mode, press the starter to begin automatic operation.

4. Press the stop switch to freely halt the machine.

5. When the reset switch is pressed, all components of the machine return to their original positions, and the control system resets to its initial state.

6. Upon emergency stop command, the machine shall immediately halt and return to both zero position and standby mode.

Before performing maintenance, please turn off the air pressure and power supply first!

Do not let limbs contact moving parts during machine operation! Avoid touching heated areas when the soldering iron is activated!

 

2. Touchscreen Operation Guide

 

Click the screen to enter the monitoring view, which displays the following interface:

  • 1. The top row of the screen displays the options bar, where you can select the screen to enter. To enter the manual screen, click the manual screen location.
  • 2. The "Production Setting" allows you to define the quantity to be produced.
  • 3. "Production Count" The actual quantity produced currently. When "Production Count"
  • 4. The "Production Speed" displays the time required for the current machine to produce one product.
  • 5. Select 'Enable buzzer on' or 'Disable' to choose whether to enable the alarm sound
  • 6. Select 'Enable Core Induction' or 'Disable' to determine whether to enable the magnetic ring material shortage alarm
  • 7. Select 'Enable Tape Induction' or 'Disable' to determine whether to enable the tape run-out alarm
  • 8. "Post-activation adhesive application" is required for certain product processes, where only the bottom and side back adhesives of the magnetic core are needed.
  • 9. The "manual page" controls the individual pneumatic cylinder actuators of the machine.

3. Click "Manual Page" to display the following screen:

When the "Single/Auto" switch is set to Single, clicking the desired action activates it. A second click cancels the action. For example, clicking "Feed Cylinder 1" activates the feed cylinder 1, and a second click automatically resets it.

 

When the "Single/Auto" switch is set to Auto, it activates the monitoring mode for each action. Specifically, when an action is triggered, the button's background color changes from green to red.

This page is for maintenance purposes and monitors the status of various sensor signals and action execution.

 

The tape installation is shown in the figure below:

Install the tape according to the position of the installation clip on the inner ring, with the adhesive side facing outward. Then, as shown in the figure above, thread the tape through the buffer rod and adjust the edge stop position to match the tape width.

 

Magnetic core feeding method:

The operator manually inserts the magnetic core into the conveyor track using a material suction fixture. A magnetic core detection sensor is positioned 2-4mm away from the magnetic ring. When the magnetic core falls below the sensor level, the machine automatically halts with an alarm. After refilling the core, the alarm interface is cleared, and pressing the start button resumes automatic operation.

 

Replace the blade and the adhesive pad

 

Replace The Blade And The Adhesive Pad

 

To replace the blade or adhesive pad, the machine must be in a stopped standby state (or an emergency stop should be pressed). This is the safest operating condition. Remove the screws securing the blade holder at the arrow position, then extract the holder using a pointed tool or pliers. There are two screws on the side of the holder; loosening them allows the blade to be removed for replacement. The adhesive pad can be replaced without loosening the screws.

 

Maintenance and Troubleshooting Daily maintenance:

 

1. Clean the workbench.

2. Drain the water from the air filter.

3. Lubricate all moving parts.

4. Internal cleaning of magnetic core flow path.

 

debugging :

 

When a machine malfunctions, the display screen automatically displays a notification. Refer to the instructions to verify the cylinder's position or check the sensor indicator light. For example, if the cylinder is in the rear position but the sensor light remains off, loosen the sensor screws and adjust the sensor until the light illuminates. If the issue persists, contact the manufacturer.
